Mage or Paladin?

Their amazing damage can only be surpassed by even more amazing survivability which no other class can even come close to. In Cataclysm they are getting even more damage and burst capability thus making it even better. All these reasons are why mages are usually recommended to new players. They take the least amount of skill to play and thus are preferred amongst many players/raiders.
